Facebook was liked and widely accepted by all because of its user-friendly and highly simplified apps and operations. Changes in Facebook layout are not really welcomed and Timeline is been no exception. The facebook timeline is being disliked by the mass.

A survey asked 1,237 people about their opinion on soon-to-be-requisite Facebook Timeline. A mass of 70% people who voted on SodaHead.com poll would leave Timeline if they could. Rest 20%  liked it and 10%  voters have opted for not to have a Facebook account.

Timeline was released as an optional upgrade but soon it would have an compulsory  switch over to every user account who have not adopted the Timeline yet.

Facebook Timeline  is been disliked by all and it does not discriminate between the sexes. It irritates male and female users equally. 30% of  18-24 year-old like Timeline. The next group that likely to accept it is 13-17 year-olds (27%) followed by 25-35 year-old(23%).

A recent survey  discovered that 79% of 2000 respondents wished that the new features were optional.

Facebook is growing in countries like India and Brazil and Facebook users outside U.S. are more likely to accept Timeline.

The countdown for soon-to-be-compulsory Timeline started some two weeks before . Though Facebook has not given any particular date for the universal adoption but it would happen in some week.

Timeline also creates a troublesome in privacy policy as it violates the updates that has been done in past years, any user can look up to your past activities in few clicks. It gives you few weeks to manage the older post and customize it accordingly. Once it hits yours account you have some 7 days to clear all those past status updates that were personal and hide all the photo upload activities. This mass denial of users has lead to the rise of scam groups on Facebook creating spams and fake applications on how to deactivate Timeline.

It, anyway, is going to be used by most of the users whether you like it or not you have it. Tell us about your views on it.
