If you are really familiar with Mac then sometimes you need to take screenshot.Yeah,I use Macbook pro and I usually use the Command-Shift-4 to take screenshot on mac of any type of selection of my desktop.But there is another way to achieve this work if you want to take a screenshot of an open window.

Let’s have a look how to take screenshot by three keyboard shortcuts on a Mac:

1.Command-Shift-3:If you want to take the screenshot of the entire screen then you can use this shortcut.

2.Command-Shift-4:It turns the cursor into a crosshair, which you can drag to select a portion of your screen to capture. Release the mouse button or trackpad to take the shot.

3.Command-Shift-4, then space bar, then click on a window:If you hit the space bar,the crosshair turns itself into a little camera icon.And you can move it on any open window.You need to click on the desired window to take screenshot of it.A white border around the window with a bit of a drop shadow will be a feature if you take screenshot by this method.
